Chris Due, Facebook

Tonight’s high winds and dust storm from the haboob has caused some problems within the City of Lubbock.  Lubbock Power & Light crews are still working on restoring power in some parts of the city. Also, downed trees and power lines have created hazards on Lubbock streets.

The City of Lubbock is encouraging citizens to limit their driving tonight.
