Loop 289 Frontage Road to Close Oct. 10 for Concrete Pouring

The southbound frontage road at the northwest Loop 289 in Lubbock will close early Friday morning (Oct. 10) for concrete pouring.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the closure will being at 3 a.m. and last approximately four hours, with the road expected to reopen by 7 a.m.

Traffic for the southbound Loop 289 frontage road will be detoured onto Erskine and west to Slide Road, then south to re-connect to Loop 289. Northstar and the Lubbock Heart Hospital also have access via Erskine.
