Local Girl Scouts to Host Fundraiser at McPherson Cellars in Lubbock

Local Girl Scouts will be hosting a fundraiser next month. Desserts First, features desserts made with the world-famous Girl Scout Cookies. The Desserts First fundraiser will be held Thursday, September 6 at 5:30p at McPherson Cellars in Downtown Lubbock.

Iconic desserts will be created by chefs from Ambrosia Catering, Cold Stone Creamery, Honeychild Catering, Jimenez Bakery & Restaurant, Lubbock Christian University, Premiere Cinemas, Sherick Memorial Home, and the South Plains Food Bank.  The Desserts First event will also feature complimentary local wines, hors d’oeuvres, live music and a silent auction.

Tickets for Desserts First are on sale for $25 per person. Proceeds from the event will benefit the over 3,000 Girl Scouts in the Lubbock region through funding leadership programs.
