Littlefield Man Arrested After Receiving Package With Marijuana

21-year-old Rafael John Deleon of Littlefield was arrested Thursday morning at the Littlefield Post Office after receiving a package with marijuana inside.

The Littlefield Police Department worked with federal US Postal Service investigators because a suspicious package was located. A federal search warrant was obtained, and the package was searched.

According to police, over 6 pounds of hydroponic marijuana with an estimated street value of $10,000 was discovered. Deleon arrived to claim the package and was arrested without incident. He was transported to the Lamb County Jail where he was booked.
