LISD Board Member Dan Pope Gives His Vision for the Future on KFYO

Dan Pope is seeking re-election to the LISD board, District 5.  On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, he was asked about his vision for LISD in the next few years.

“First and foremost, we have to get better every year at preparing our students for life after high school,” Pope said.  “For many of our kids that is college or community college.  For some, it’s professional school or trade school.  For others, it’s directly to the work force.  They’ve got to be prepared.  That’s our chief job.”

Pope has served on the school board since 2007.
