Life In The Circus — What’s It Like? — Phenomenal!
What’s it like to travel and perform with perhaps the best-known circus in the world?
“It’s phenomenal,” said Erwin Urias, during an interview on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO.
Urias performs with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus, which is in Lubbock for a series of performances this weekend.
“We get to see great sights,” Urias said. “We get the opportunity to see our wonderful country first-hand.”
And, in his case, he gets to perform on motorcycles.
” I do the motorcycles inside the Globe of Steel,” Urias said. “We (the circus) have everything from a house cat act, to trained canines, to illusionists.”
Urias and his brother are the fourth generation in his family to perform in the circus.
The circus will be performing in Lubbock Friday through Sunday. Tickets are available at Select-a-Seat.
