Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst Talks Senate Race on Lubbock’s First News [AUDIO]

On Tuesday’s edition of Lubbock’s First News, Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst talked to Chad and Rex about his campaign for the Senate.

Dewhurst is running for Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison’s seat in the U.S. senate. He said that if he won the race, he would dramatically cut spending and reduce the debt. When asked about the immigration problem, Dewhurst said that simply rounding them up and sending them back would not be “practical” and that we need to focus on securing the border instead.
