Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick Says Sanctuary Cities Legislation A Very High Priority [INTERVIEW]

Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick joined the show to talk about the latest news from the 85th Texas Legislature.

Patrick and Hasty discussed the top priorities for the Senate, and forefront issues including "sanctuary cities", ethics reform, school choice, and much more.

While talking about SB-4, the "sanctuary cities" bill, and the urgency for action by the legislature, Patrick said,

Imagine that, just in Texas, over a half-million crimes committed by criminal aliens, more than two-thirds of which were here illegally, committing these crimes. So, this is a serious issue Chad, that we must address. And as Republicans in the Senate, we're not going to put up with this nonsense anymore. Now we have a president that will back us up on the federal level.
