On Tuesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Sean Kirkpatrick from the Levelland Economic Development Corporation talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about an upcoming event for wine and music lovers.

This weekend, the High Plains Winegrowers will be hosting their annual Wine and Music Festival at the Mallet Event Center in Levelland, Texas. The festival will host 8 different wineries from all across Texas, as well as a number of musical acts in the evenings. Friday night, Mark McKinney and Charlie Robinson will be performing. On Saturday night, Mickey and the Motorcars will be opening for William Clark Green. Tickets for the concerts range between $30 and $60.

The festival will also include a trade show, featuring the latest in vineyard and wine making equipment. The trade show will also feature farm machinery, landscaping, and even men's and women's fashions. The trade show will be open Friday from 11 AM to 7 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM. Tickets for the trade show are $5 for adults, and free for kids 16 and under.
