On Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Ron Betenbough, Cathy Landtroop and some young entrepreneurs joined Tom Collins and Laura Mac to talk about this weekend's Lemonade Day event.

This Saturday, May 4th, is Lemonade Day, where kids will be setting up stands and selling lemonade at various locations all over Lubbock. Betenbough, the promoter-in-chief for the event, said that Lemonade Day helps to teach and encourage these "young entrepreneurs" about the business world and how they can start their own business.

Betenbough also brought in two of the many children who will be participating in the event: sisters Ashton and Autumn Page from Roscoe-Wilson elementary. The girls talked about what they would be selling at their booth, which will be located in Kingsgate Center in front of Malouf's. They also discussed their experience with getting ready for Lemonade Day and what they learned from it.

For more information and a listing of stand locations, visit the official lemonade Day website at lubbock.lemonadeday.org.
