One of the coolest play places in Lubbock will be closed from now until August 6th for some much-needed repairs.

Legacy Play Village, located in McAlister Park, is getting some serious TLC from members of the community. But they need your help as well.

From the City of Lubbock:

Legacy is operated by Friends of Legacy Play Village, and volunteers are needed to help with the repairs. Those willing to volunteer should send an email to legacyplayvillagelubbock@gmail.com or go online to sign up at www.legacyplayvillagelubbock.org.

All skill levels are needed to help with general grounds maintenance and repairing the structures and equipment.

It is scheduled to reopen on Sunday, August 6th during regular hours. We can’t wait to see how much better the place looks when they get it done.
