The Lubbock Economic Development Alliance has announced the creation of 236 new jobs in the Hub City.

The jobs come from the expansion of Bahama Bucks, TimeForge, and Hurley companies, all local businesses.

According to a press release from LEDA, these companies will invest more than $3.17 million in new capital improvements.

The new jobs will provide more than $5.46 million in new annual salaries.

LEDA says that the total value-added impact for Lubbock County’s Gross Regional Product will be $40.1 million dollars annually.
