Lawton Woman Struck and Killed by Car

LAWTON, Okla. (AP) — Police in Lawton say a woman was killed when she was struck by a vehicle on the city's south side.

Police told KSWO that Tia Rogers of Lawton was walking in the middle of the roadway when she was struck early Thursday morning. Police say Rogers was taken to a local hospital where she later died.

Police say the driver of the vehicle has not been arrested or ticketed, but that the incident is still under investigation.
