Lane Closures Scheduled For Fourth Street in Lubbock

Some Fourth Street lanes will close over the next two weeks as part of a paving operation.

Fourth Street from Indiana Avenue to Slide Road will be prepared for seal coating later this summer, according to TxDOT.

Crews will place a hotmix overlay on the street, and the work will require various lane closures on Fourth Street from Indiana Avenue to Slide Road.

The work will begin on Tuesday, June 11^th and will run for two weeks, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to use caution in this area.
