Some areas in south Lubbock will undergo lane closures as construction on the Lake Alan Henry Pipeline Project continues.

The lane closures will begin on Monday, February 13th, as installation continues on the Lake Alan Henry Treated Water Line. Work will be done in two phases: pipe installation followed by total pavement restoration.

The closures at 98th Street and Memphis Avenue and 82nd Street and Memphis Avenue are expected to stay in place for three to four weeks. The closure at 87th Street and Memphis Avenue is only expected to last for one week.

This part of the project is expected to take two months to complete. The City of Lubbock asks citizens to use caution and drive friendly when traveling in these areas.
