Lamar Smith to Give Presentation at Texas Tech Law School

A notable U.S. Representative from Texas will visit Texas Tech this week. Representative Lamar Smith will have a presentation at the Texas Tech Law School on Friday, November 2nd starting at 2pm.

The event is free to the public. Smith, a Republican from San Antonio, was named Policymaker of the Year by POLITICO in 2011for his work on Patent reform legislation.

Smith also serves on both the Homeland Security Committee and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, which has jurisdiction over renewable energy policies, research and science education, technology and innovation and America’s space program.
