The Texas Tech women’s tennis team has earned a new record ranking.

Lady Raider tennis has been ranked as 46th in the nation by the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings.

Three Big 12 Conference members are ranked in the top 25, including Baylor at 6th, Texas at 21st, and Oklahoma at 25th. The Lady Raiders are tied at 46th with Kansas State.

In doubles, Texas Tech players Kenna Kilgo and Samantha Adams have been ranked 45th for their 5-1 performance last fall.

Their season will kick off against Central Florida and Rice at the UCF Invitational in Orlando, Florida on January 14th.
