Lady Antebellum Bus Catches Fire East of Dallas

Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum, her husband, her manager and bus driver were on their way from Nashville to Dallas for the ACM Awards coming up this Sunday when a tire blew on their bus and it caught fire over Lake Ray Hubbard on I-30 East of Dallas.

Fortunately, everyone is alright. Lady A singer Hillary Scott put up the above photo on her Instagram page to show off the destruction.

I have lived right in this area and have family that still does and this is a horrible place for something like this to happen. There is no place to go but into other lanes of traffic on that bridge or the lake. We are so thankful that it ended up as good as it did.

Lady Antebellum is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year at the ACM Awards this Sunday, April 19 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The group will also be in Lubbock for a show at the United Supermarket Arena May 1 with Hunter Hayes and Sam Hunt.
