News/Talk 790, KFYO Afternoon Show Producer Opening
Are you a political science or journalism major? Political junkie? Like writing? News/Talk 790, KFYO has an opening that would allow you to immerse yourself in local and Texas politics, and develop and expand your skills. KFYO is searching for its next part-time afternoon show producer. This position requires availability Monday-Friday from 4p-7:15p, and the ability to work some Friday night and/or weekend shifts (mainly during football season).
In addition to producing Pratt on Texas, this position requires daily work on the KFYO.com website, and social media outlets, by contributing written interview recaps & podcasts, and writing lifestyle blogs. You will also be able to build an online portfolio of your writing on KFYO.com. This position may also be expanded to include reporting and anchoring duties in the KFYO News Department
Weekly workload will be between 15-25 hours.

Are you an economics, political science, journalism or communications major? Enjoy writing? Don't mind getting up early? News/Talk 790, KFYO has a job opening that would allow you to develop, expand and use skills pertinent to your field. KFYO is searching for its next morning news anchor. This part-time position requires availability Monday-Friday 4:30a-9:45a, working between 27-29 hours per week.
In addition to anchoring on-air newscasts, this position requires additional writing through posting news stories on the KFYO.com website and social media outlets. You will also be able to build an online portfolio of your writing on KFYO.com.

News/Talk 790, KFYO is taking applications for a future job opening that would allow you to develop and expand your skills. KFYO is expecting to have an opening in mid-June for a part-time midday producer. This position requires availability Monday-Friday from 8:30a-1:15p, and the ability to work some Friday night and/or weekend shifts (mainly during football season).
