KFYO News Tours Lubbock’s New Sam’s Club [PICS]

Last week, Sam's Club opened their new Lubbock location at 6106 Marsha Sharp Freeway in the Canyon West Shopping Center. KFYO News was there for the grand opening and we were able to take numerous photos of the new store.

Some of the major changes between the old Sam's Club location and the new one: more natural lighting in the store via skylights, taller ceilings and a slightly larger store footprint.

In my opinion, it's easier to drive in and out of the new Sam's Club because of the access Canyon West has to both the Marsha Sharp Freeway and Milwaukee Avenue.

Finally, tomorrow, April 26, New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker will be at Sam's Club to sign autographs.  The session is scheduled to last from 3:30p-5p.
