KFYO News Announces Continued Partnership with the Mayor of Lubbock

Incoming Lubbock Mayor Glen Robertson will continue a tradition of previous Lubbock mayors after he is sworn into office this weekend.

Mayor-Elect Robertson will appear on Lubbock's First News with Chad Hasty and Rex Andrew on the Fridays after Thursday Lubbock City Council meetings. Robertson will be on the air during the 7a hour and in addition to discussing the previous day's council meeting, calls from listeners will be included during each hour-long visit.

Glen Robertson beat Lubbock Mayor Tom Martin 65% to 35% in Saturday's municipal election.

Robertson and city council members Floyd Price and Latrelle Joy will be sworn into office this Saturday, 10a in Council Chambers.
