On the Friday edition of Lubbock’s First News, Chad Hasty and Rex Andrew announced that they will no longer be the hosts of LFN. Tom Collins and Laura Mac will be the new hosts of the program. Collins and Mac have worked for various radio stations in the Lubbock area for a number of years, and will bring a positive attitude to the events and stories taking place locally and also provide the latest news and weather.

In addition, “The Neal Boortz Show” will no longer be airing on KFYO. Instead, our very own Chad Hasty will host “The Chad Hasty Show,” starting at 8:30 AM. The new Lubbock’s First News will air Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 8:30 AM. The weekday edition of the Chad Hasty Show will follow directly after from 8:30 AM to 11 AM.

Paul R. Beane’s commentary “The Way I See It” will continue to be heard on KFYO at 8:30am.

Rex Andrew will continue his duties with KFYO News and will continue hosting “This Week in Lubbock” on Sunday mornings at 6 AM.
