Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, former Lubbock County GOP Chairman Carl Tepper and KFYO's own Ken Corbin joined Chad in the KFYO studio to discuss the local and state races being held in today's elections.

While speaking about the Texas Land Commissioner race between incumbent George P. Bush, Rick Range and former commissioner Jerry Patterson, and the volatile topic of proposed changes at the Alamo which many Texans view as being made for politically correct reasons and with utter disregard for the history of the state, Corbin said,

If there's hallowed ground in the state of Texas, [the Alamo] is it.  And for George P. and anybody else involved in changing that, and not showing reverence to that and basically trying to turn it into a theme park, then shame on you. You don't deserve to be an elected official.
