City of Lubbock to Host K-9 Splashfest

Just like us, our fur babies could use a little fun to beat this heat. What better way than a day splashing around the pool?

The City of Lubbock is providing what will certainly be an adorable and fun day at Clapp pool with your best friend. The event is Sunday, August 14th, from 1 - 5 p.m.

There will be contests, too: Retrieving, 25-Yard Swim Race and Diving plus a swimsuit contest.

Admission is very affordable. It's $2.50 for adults and $2 for kids 17 and under. Oh, and dogs get in free.
