Nancy Neal of Lubbock Parks and Recreation joined Lubbock's First News to invite everyone to the K-9 Splash Fest this Sunday, August 16 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Clapp Park.

"This is our 10th year to do it, which that alone is amazing that we've been doing it this long," said Neal. "It's really grown popularity wise."

Sunday is also the last day the pools are open, making the K-9 Splash Fest a closing event.

There will also be a swimsuit competition, retrieving competition, diving competition and 25-yard dash.

Dogs are free, and regular admission prices apply to adults and children.
