Monday on Lubbock's First News, Andrea Watson, Marketing Chair for Holiday Happening gave details on the upcoming fundraiser for the Junior League of Lubbock. The 34th Annual Holiday Happening with the theme "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" will take place November 20-24 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

In addition to the main event, there will be a sneak peak event on November 20 called "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas." Watson described it as "our first chance for everybody to come in and get a look at what our merchants have to offer." It will be a catered event with a silent auction to show off some products that will be available. Tickets are $45 per person. These can be obtained through the Junior League of Lubbock website or call 806-445-9637. Tickets for the other events are also available. Get the full calendar on the website.

The funds raised will go to the Food2Kids program and Spark program, Hope Lodge, and other efforts sponsored by the Junior League of Lubbock. Get more details on the efforts of the Junior League of Lubbock and on Holiday Happening by listening to the full interview.
