Juan Vasquez Arrested Following Tuesday Burglary

Lubbock Police arrested one man following a reported burglary Tuesday morning.

Officers were called to the 2500 block of Kenosha in reference to a burglary around 9:30 a.m.

Authorities reportedly observed 37-year-old Juan Vasquez fleeing the backyard with stolen property.

Officers say Vasquez attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended by officers following a brief foot chase.

Vasquez is being held in the Lubbock County Jail.
