A group of fraternity men are cycling coast to coast to benefit those with disabilities.

The team of cyclists participating in Journey of Hope, will arrive in Lubbock as a stop on their 4,000-mile cycling event across the country to raise funds and awareness.

The men will be in Lubbock on Sunday and Monday, and will visit the Lubbock State Supported Living Center.

Journey of Hope is a program of Push America, the national philanthropy of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, which raises funds and awareness for the disabled.

Texas Tech junior Boston Blake is cycling in the event.

The event began in Seattle Friday morning, and will end in Washington D.C. on August 13th. The team expects to cycle an average of 75 miles per day.
