A murder suspect on the run form authorities for over 20 years is now in Custody in Colorado.

U.S. Marshals arrested Jose Luis Aguilar in Denver on Thursday morning. Aguilar has been wanted by the Hale County Sheriff’s Office since 1992 for allegedly shooting and killing a man during an argument at a rodeo in Plainview.

The U.S. Marshal’s Office in Lubbock learned on Wednesday that Aguilar may have been living in the Denver under an assumed alias with a woman.

Marshals were able to track Aguilar using an age progression photo to identify him. Aguilar is currently being held  on $1 Million bond in the Douglas County Jail while awaiting extradition back to Texas.
