John Frullo Wins Re-election to the Texas House

State Rep. John Frullo (R- Lubbock) won the Republican Primary for House District 84 on Tuesday night.  Frullo beat challenger Jim Landtroop 55%-45%.  Frullo received 9,872 votes compared to Landtroop's 8,010 votes.

After the loss, Landtroop posted a statement on Facebook, "Final numbers are in and we came up on the short end 45-55. I called John to congratulate him on the victory and wish him well.

"Words cannot express my appreciation for everyone who believed in me, and worked so hard on the campaign. Thank you to my amazing wife and kids for supporting me. There is still much to be done, and although it didn't turn out as we hoped, we still worship a sovereign God who loves us and causes all things to work together for the good of those who love Him!"

In an interview with KFYO News Frullo said he is happy to continue to serve the 84th District. John Frullo has been a member of the Texas House of Representatives since November 2010.
