Jim Landtroop Touts Agriculture Sector Endorsements as the Campaign for the GOP Runoff in House District 88 Continues

State Representative Jim Landtroop is touting endorsements from the Agriculture sector as he continues campaigning in the GOP runoff for State Rep. District 88.

Landtroop has been endorsed by Ag Commissioner Todd Staples, and the PAC’s for the Texas Farm Bureau, Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers, Texas Cattle Feeders, Texas Seed Producers, Texas Wheat Producers and Texas Grain and Feed.

Landtroop is being challenged by Ken King from Canadian as the campaign is now in its final weeks.

Both candidates over the weekend campaigned in Levelland at the Hockley County Settler’s Day Parade.

Meanwhile, King has received his own set of endorsements, including the other two candidates from the May Primary, Mac Smith and Gary Walker.

The election date for the runoff is Tuesday, July 31. KFYO News will have complete coverage of the returns from 7p-9p.
