Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week in the 2018 Camaro Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition, as well as some auto industry news, and more.

Jerry explained that this car was made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hot Wheels with their first ever car being a Camaro. The vehicle is a crushed orange with black stripes running across it, and has a black and orange interior.

"This baby is a runner, I'm going to tell you right now. You'd better hang on if you pull forward from a dead stop because it's going to burn tires."

Jerry says that there is a lot of interest for this car and that it is, "sure to be a collectible." The sticker price is $52,000.

The Car Pro also gave a yearly warning about leaving your children in a locked car. He explained that after just 20 minutes, a car gets 29 degrees hotter inside than the temperature outside, and with the fatal temperature for humans being just under 107 degrees, there will definitely be days this summer that could be fatal for a child. He warns that even with the windows cracked, it may not be enough and it is better to not risk it.
