On the Tuesday edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Jeff Allen from the CNBC show "Car Chasers" spoke with Chad Hasty about an upcoming car show and auction in Lubbock.

Allen spoke about the latest going on with "Car Chasers," and said that show has now gained international appeal in Mexico, and will also start airing in Japan soon. He added that, while there is no concrete word on a Season 3, he is very pleased with the success of the show, and called it "the most real car show on TV."

"This is the most real car show on television, and a lot of people don't realize that. They just think it's all made-up drama. I got asked the other day, "Is the Roundman really your father," and I'm like, "Yes. Yes he is," So it's just interesting that people perception, they just watch so much reality TV...then they see a real reality show and they are like, "Ah, it can't be real."

Allen and the rest of the cast of "Car Chasers" will appear at the Flatland Car Show And Auction next weekend. Allen said that there will be over 150 cars available at auction, including muscle cars, hot rods, classic Corvettes, and many more. There will also be a number of local vendors in attendance as well.

The Flatland Car Show and Auction will be Saturday, May 17th at the Lubbock Auto Auction. Doors open at 9 AM, and the auction begins at 10 AM. Admission is $5 at the door, and children 12 and under are free. For more information and to register to bid in the show, visit their website at flatlandcollectorcar.com.
