Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Jason Corley, former candidate for House of Representatives District 19, joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about his support for Lubbock Mayor Glen Robertson in the run-off race with Jodey Arrington.

During the interview, Hasty asked Corely who he supports in the race between Arrington and Robertson. Corley replied, "Let me be the first candidate to formally endorse Glen Robertson. I've said it from the beginning when I was running my campaign: We need to be voting for the person who's in the same boat with you. And I believe that candidat's Glen."

While discussing the strong possibility of negative campaign ads in the run-off race, and what is or is not appropriate, Corley said,

To call somebody out on their record, or to call somebody out on their job history, their job performance in the past if they served in any political capacity, or what they've done professionally, no, that's fair game. That's informing voters. I mean they ought to know these things. So if you see something negative about one of the candidates, take the time, go look it up, see if that's actually true or not. That's on us. I mean if you get deceived, that's your own fault.
