On the Tuesday edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Lubbock City Council District 2 candidate Jared Hall joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk issues in the runoff election for the seat.

During the interview, while describing the growth in Lubbock, Hall said, "We're looking at a city that's going to be three hundred thousand here within five, at most ten years, but probably within the next five years, we're going to be a city of three hundred thousand."  Hall continued, saying, "We need to have a city council that's active, dynamic, and ready to be proactive and address these issues, and look for opportunities and encourage opportunities."

Describing differences between himself and Shelia Patterson Harris, his opponent in the race, Hall said,

I'm a life-long Republican, I've been active in the Republican party, I'm pro life, I'm in favor of religious freedoms, and I'm going to be fighting to keep our taxes low, and I'm also going to be fighting and working for jobs and growth for the entire district.
