James Arnold Discusses The Farm Bill, South Plains Economy

Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, James Arnold, President of Lubbock's American Bank of Commerce joined the program to talk about the condition of the local and state economy, as well as the farm bill recently delivered, as promised, by District 19 Representative Jodey Arrington.

Arnold and Hasty talked about downtown Lubbock, hotels, the housing and construction markets, interest rates, agriculture, auto sales and more.

While speaking about the farm bill, and how it will benefit agriculture producers in West Texas, Arnold said,

Congressman Arrington did a fantastic job pushing and seeing that through...It's one of those deals, Chad, that Jodey went up there on a promise to get and deliver a farm bill, and he did it. So we're grateful for that. All the community banks are supportive of that obviously. It's a big deal for West Texas.
