Three JAB Fest 2016 Performers Announced, Date Confirmed

We now know the date for this year's hugely popular JAB Fest in Lubbock, Texas, along with three artists who will be playing live.

Josh Abbott Band, Flatland Cavalry and Kaitlin Butts will all be playing JAB Fest 2016. Tickets are available online at the Josh Abbott Band's website. We'll be announcing more acts as we hear about them.

Lonestar 99.5 FM has also learned that JAB Fest 2016 will happen Saturday, Oct. 1 at Lubbock's Lonestar Amphitheater.

For those unfamiliar with the annual JAB Fest (or living under a rock), it's one of the biggest Texas country shows in Lubbock -- if not the biggest. JAB Fest features some of the brightest names in Texas country music plus several up-and-coming acts. Topping previous bills was Lubbock's own Josh Abbott Band, whose singer organizes the concert.

For the past two years, JAB Fest has sold out. We expect the same to happen this year.
