Q: What’s the working relationship like between city and county?
A: I think it sucks.
Fast forward to an interview with Mayor Tom Martin.
“Judge Head and I get along very well,” Mayor Martin said.
But the mayor acknowledged that they don’t always see eye to eye.
“In the things that we do participate in, I think they’re doing their share. Could they participate in other things? I certainly would like to see them eventually participate in the library system and the health department.”
