Is Lubbock a Conservative City? [POLL]
This morning in my Morning Brief, I discussed whether or not the City of Lubbock was actually a conservative city. At first glance, the answer would be yes. Lubbock and the surrounding area elects some of the most conservative candidates to Washington, D.C. and to Austin. If you take a look at the City Council though, it may paint a different picture. Some would argue that if Jim Gerlt wins his runoff against Paul Beane, the Democrats could have a majority vote. If Lubbock really is that conservative, how did so many Democrats end up on the council? Tell us what you think in today's Poll of the Day and go into detail below.
