Is It Time for Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to Go? Rep. Randy Neugebauer Says “Maybe He Should Resign”

High unemployment, an uncertain economy, and now S&P’s decision to downgrade the U.S. credit rating to AA+.  As a result of all that, some in Washington want a new treasury secretary.  Congressman Randy Neugebauer apparently is one of those who want Timothy Geithner to go.

“Obviously we don’t have the right management team in place,” Neugebauer told KFYO.  “He’s a part of that team.  So, if it would bring some stability to the market, maybe he should resign.  But again, I’ve never been a Tim Geithner fan."
