Is It Time For the Ron Paul Surge? [POLL]

It seems like every month there is a new candidate on top of the polls for the GOP primary. Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, and now Newt Gingrich have all had their time in the spotlight. The spotlight also means the target on their backs grew larger and each of them have lost their top spot except for Newt Gingrich. However, Newt's time at the top may be numbered. In recent days Gingrich has had to deal with political assaults from Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, Michele Bachmann, and Ron Paul. Has it hurt him? According to some polls, the answer is yes and now at least one poll shows Gingrich losing steam quickly to Ron Paul in Iowa.
