Is Governor Rick Perry Using the Special Session for Political Aspirations? [POLL]

Last Friday, State Representative Charles Perry appeared on LFN to discuss the current Special Session down in Austin. During the weekly interview Rep. Perry was asked about different legislation that he would like to see added to the session. While answering the question Perry made it sound as though Governor Rick Perry was only adding legislation to the Special Session that would benefit his political aspirations.  Representative Perry was asked in the interview directly if he thought the Governor was only calling for legislation to be considered during the Special Session that would help in a bid for the White House. Representative Perry’s answer was, “Yes”.

Do you agree with what Rep. Perry said? Is this another misstep for Charles Perry or was he telling the truth? Let us know and vote in today’s LFN Poll of the Day.
