Thursday, the nephew of former President George W. Bush and son former Florida Governor Jeb Bush made a campaign filing in Texas that is required of candidates planning to run for political office. (Story)

George P. Bush currently lives in Fort Worth and his filing comes at a time when the Republicans and the Conservative movement are at a crossroads in seeking to reach out to Hispanic voters.

Bush is co-founder of Hispanic Republicans of Texas, which aims to get Hispanic Republicans elected to office. Bush is also part Hispanic as his mother is from Mexico.
