As a result of Attorney General Ken Paxton ruling in favor of law enforcement displaying the words, Lubbock County Constables Office patrol cars will now display the "In God We Trust" motto.

"The words 'In God We Trust' [sic] is to remind us that we have an oath to serve and protect every citizen in the state of Texas and more so in this community," Lubbock County Constable Joe Pinson said.

The words are widely considered a symbol of our nation's history and are a warmly welcomed accessory.

"This was also done in hopes that every peace officer in the country, border to border, can go home to their families and take care of them as they should be able to do," said Constable Pinson.
