Children needing immunizations can get these taken care of very soon at a local library.

The City of Lubbock Health Department will offer state-supplied immunizations for children ages 2 months to 18 years old Thursday, October 27th at the Godeke Library from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The Godeke Library is located at 6707 Slide Road. A single vaccine costs $10, and two or more vaccines will cost $15. Medicaid and CHIP are acceptable forms of payment as well, and the Health Department says no child will be turned away due to the family’s inability to pay for the vaccines.

A shot record is required in order to purchase the immunizations.

Flu shots for adults will also be available for $20 per person.
