Illinois Woman Arrested In Gray County with 12 Bricks of Marijuana

A trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety conducted a traffic stop in West Texas Monday, November 17, that resulted in the seizure of $159,000 in marijuana.

Hillary Jean Baird, 25, of Rock Falls, Illinois, was arrested Monday after being stopped on I-40 in Gray County near Amarillo, Texas. The trooper conducting the stop discovered 12 bricks of the drug.

Baird was reportedly delivering the bricks to Illinois in her 2007 Toyota Camry.

Baird was booked into the Gray County Jail on a felony charge of possession and delivery of marijuana.
