A few days after each debate we will be asking you to let us know where you stand on the GOP candidates. This past Monday night, CNN televised a debate that was seen as the first true debate between the GOP candidates. Many agreed that Mitt Romney did well which was easy because all he had to do was breeze through and not screw up too bad. However, it looks as though Michele Bachmann might have had the best night out of anyone. The latest polling results now show Bachmann in second place behind Mitt Romney. According to NewsMax:

Rep. Michele Bachmann has surged into second place behind Mitt Romney following Monday’s Republican presidential debate and Bachmann’s entry into the race for the GOP nomination, a new Rasmussen Reports national poll reveals.

The survey of likely GOP primary voters shows former Massachusetts Gov. Romney with 33 percent support, and Bachmann with 19 percent. Businessman Herman Cain is in third place with 10 percent of the vote.

The results don't surprise me at all. I thought Michele Bachmann had a great night and seemed to show that she could be ready to lead. I think she has a long road to go, but she won't be knocked out of the race easily.

If the election were held today, who would you vote for in the GOP primary? Let us know your thoughts below.
