Icy weather impacts DFW flights

The icy weather continues its march across Texas.

300 flights to and from Dallas Fort Worth Airport were cancelled yesterday - and 180 flights have been cancelled so far this morning.

Airline officials suggest people with travel plans originating, ending or connecting htorugh DFW contact their airline for updates.

DFW is the major connecting airport for Lubbock's Preston Smith International Airport.

Officials at DFW said most airliners are being de-iced prior to take off.
