Heineken to Introduce Mexican Beer Indio to the Texas Market

Heineken USA will be introducing a traditional Mexican beer to the Houston market later this summer, the Houston Business Journal reported on Thursday.

Indio, a dark lager beer brewed in Mexico since 1893, will be launched in seven markets in California and Texas.

Heineken will be seeking to cater to Hispanic males in the 21-26 age range with their upcoming marketing campaign for the sales launch of Indio.

Heineken USA is based in White Plains, NY and is the exclusive importer of other notable Mexican beers such as the Tecate brands, Sol, Carta Blacna and Dos Equis.
