Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Hasty expounded on the Omnibus spending bill currently being negotiated in Washington, D.C.

Hasty talked about the ardent promises of nearly all Republicans during the 2016 campaign, and listed the many items that Republicans campaigned against. For example, Hasty brought up Rep. Jodey Arrington's statement during a TX-19 debate that he wouldn't vote for legislation that also funded Planned Parenthood.

In an interview on February 4th of 2016, then candidate Arrington said he would vote no on a good farm bill if it including funding for Planned Parenthood. "The are some moral imperatives that you don't compromise on." (Remarks begin at the 5 minute mark on Planned Parenthood funding)

While talking about Republican promises and contrasting action, Hasty said, "Who's in control of Congress right now, which party is in control?... Who's in control of the White House?...And we can't help out cotton farmers, we can't help out dairy producers, we can't get any of this through?"

Hasty continued,

I don't think any Republican who is out there today, who is going to be on T.V. today, who is going to sell this plan, I don't think any of them believe in it. I think they all know it's horrible. I think they all know it's not what they campaigned on. And we need people to start standing up and saying 'No'.
